Precise tracking with some glitches
I tried a couple of runs - I usually use Endomondo Pro.
It is very precise in GPS tracking and the sharing features are nice and I prefer them to the one in Endomondo. The map is nicer too, however if you start the app with Wi-Fi (for instance because you start running from home) it often has issues switching to 3G mode, and it wont display any map, which sucks.
Another issue is the data displayed while you perform the activity: it is difficult to really display the data that you actually want to see, you have a main data that you can only customize before the start (lets say is the distance or total time), then you have a scrolling bar which can show two other data but you can only scroll what is offered; in Endomondo you have four data which can be customized and changed also during the activity.
It also lacks the possibility to lock the screen without using the iPhone lock function - with the latter it will request the PIN and it is not easy to type it whole you run or cycle (and often you cannot disable it if it is a company enrolled device...).
It would also be nice to have cached (Pre loaded) maps like some other tracking programs have, so to save battery and the bill to transfer the maps continuously from Google or OpenStreetMaps.
Overall a nice app with a nice maps if you dont do long activities and have a flat internet plan and coverage and disable Wi-Fi before start... LOL Ill stick with Endomondo for the moment.
